As you’ve probably already figured out, there’s always something fun to do on the weekends here in Corning. We’ll get right down to our favorites.

2300? at the Corning Museum of Glass: December 17

The Crystal City?s hottest event is back for round two! Tonight?s 2300? celebration at the Corning Museum of Glass runs from 6-8pm, and features live glass making by visual artist Alli Hoag, performance artist Tinna Thorsteindottir and their team from Bowling Greet State University. Musical entertainment comes all the way from Canada, courtesy of the wildly popular Celtic rock group, The Mudmen. These guys have a crazy fun sound,?so make sure you check them out below.

As always, admission to 2300? is free, but plan accordingly if you want to take advantage of the event?s well-stocked cash bar or food options.

Polar Express Screening at the Rockwell Museum: December 18 & 19

Your post 2300? wind down is courtesy of the Rockwell. Grab the family for a special viewing of one of everyone’s favorite Christmass classics, The Polar Express. You can either catch the movie on the 18th at 6pm, or at settle in for a Saturday matinee at 2pm.?Feel free to wear your best PJs or to bring comfortable pillows, and remember, all?children must be accompanied by an adult.
