I’ll try to keep this short, because I want you all to head over to?CMoG’s Blog and read the new details?about this expansion project. CMoG’s new Contemporary Gallery is going to be visually and technologically amazing, inside and out.
I’ve been to CMoG off-and-on during the expansion, and have taken a few celly shots to document the process:
I expect we’ll be seeing a lot more technology incorporated throughout the museum, along with this expansion. If you’ve been there lately, you may have noticed these cool informational touch screens. ?In addition to tech that conveys information, I’m a big fan of the science & technology areas of the museum. I would love to see more exhibits that incorporated the advancements from their neighbors across the river at Corning Inc.
The new gallery is slated for a member opening on Dec. 5th 2014, and a public opening Dec. 6th & 7th 2014.
