RealtyUSA-largeBreaking local news: RealtyUSA.com has purchased Prudential Ambrose and Shoemaker. As some of you know, I am/was an agent with Prudential; as of 9:30AM I am now an agent with RealtyUSA.  In order to accommodate the expansion, RealtyUSA is keeping  the former Prudential Office at 48 W Market St (as well as the existing RealtyUSA office on Denison Parkway).

From a personal perspective: All of our agents were in a state of shock when we heard the news today. Under the leadership of our Broker Vince DiLaura, Prudential has seen significant growth since the previous owners acquired it over a year ago.  The now former owners are the current owners of First Arena in Elmira. With the growth spurt you may have noticed going on at the Arena, it is my understanding that the owners wanted to focus their efforts on the continued success of the Arena.

This brand change may not feel as shocking or even as important to the public, but to us real estate agents, who work as independent contractors, the company we work for is our second family.  There was an overwhelming sense of shock when the news was broken to us today. RealtyUSA.com is one of the largest independent real estate companies in the nation, and they are certainly the best known independent real estate company in New York.  I am moving forward with RealtyUSA as an agent. I have several friends within the company already, and once the shock (and rum) subsides, I believe I will find myself at home among friends. I will make the best of the new resources available to me through RealtyUSA.com, and I will provide my new and existing clients continued awesomeness into the future.
