2017 has come and almost gone. If you’re looking for a convenient location to enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities, look no further than Downtown Corning’s historic Market Street. From dance parties to dinner specials, champagne toasts to family-friendly activities, a little bit of every kind of entertainment can be found along the street. See a few of our recommendations, below:
Maley’s Pub (92 E. Market St.) – Make your way to Maley’s and enjoy your favorite throwback jams, spun by Elmira’s DJ DopeOne. In addition to music from your youth, enjoy nightlong drink specials before the ball drop at midnight.
VOLO (74 E. Market St.) – Ring in the New Year during VOLO’s NYE Revolution, featuring electronic dance music by Swizko. The experienced DJ duo returns for the third year, and will mix your favorite remixes, mashups, and original dance tracks until 3am, taking a break only for a quick champagne toast at midnight.
The Cellar (21 W. Market St.) – The Cellar is the perfect location for a New Year’s Eve date night. The menu features two special entrees: seafood bouillabaisse and steak. The dessert menu is new as of this week, as well.
Hand + Foot (69 W. Market St.) – For more relaxed New Year’s Eve libations, join our friends at Hand + Foot. In addition to great cocktails and a seasonal menu, enjoy a champagne toast as the clock strikes midnight.
Radisson Hotel Corning (125 Denison Pkwy.) – Family-friendly festivities begin at 8:30pm with a pizza dinner followed by a DJ dance party, including a “Make Your Own Sundae” bar, family games and a dance contest. Watch the ball drop while enjoying a champagne or sparkling juice toast at midnight!
