If you’re a foodie looking for something to do this weekend, look no further than Saturday. It’s jam-packed with food-centric activities. Here are three of our recommendations:
Visit The Corning Winter Farmers Market
In case you weren’t aware, the popular Corning Farmers Market carries into the winter with an indoor market located in the Corning Information Center.?The?winter market is held each Saturday, from 11-3pm, and features locally grown produce, naturally raised meats and eggs, maple and honey products, baked goods, and so much more! It’s the perfect opportunity to continue to get fresh, local goods all year round.
Taste Cheese at Cugini Cafe
Visit Cugini Cafe, between 2-6pm on November 11th, for a complementary artisan cheese tasting with Golden Age Cheese Company.?They’ll?be demoing several types of locally made cheeses, including a brand new cheese that will be introducing for the very first time at Cugini.?In addition to the cheese tasting, Cugini will?offer local craft beer and wine flights that pair perfectly with the cheeses featured, as well as a special rustic pizza using cheeses made at Golden Age Cheese. Veterans and active members of the military get 50% off any one menu item, and a free cannoli, with military ID.
Kickstart the Holidays with the Keuka Lake Wine Trail
Ring in the holiday season during the first Keuka Holidays weekend.?The Keuka Lake Wine Trail’s seven wineries?offer?tastes of their finest wines complemented by small plates of hearty winter foods. Ticket holders receive a handmade grapevine wreath at their starting winery and collect an ornament at each additional winery. The event is officially sold out, but the wineries will be open (for ticket and non-ticket holders) and alive with holiday decorations and cheer. Winery gift shops will be stocked with unique and locally crafted items perfect for holiday gift-giving.
