Last Minute Guide to New Year’s Eve

Perhaps you’re planning a quiet night at home. ?Or maybe you’ve got a kickin’ party to attend (our invitation must’ve gotten lost in the mail…). ?But if you don’t already have plans for New Year’s Eve, here’s our annual round-up of?options for ringing in 2016 Cystal City-style:

Volo: will have you “dancing into 2016” with DJ Jonny Dutch. ?Open until 3:00am.

TOP – That Other Place: Is offering the only live music we could find in town – with Wendy Owens and Renegade playing 9:00pm-12:30am. ?Door prizes, party favors and complimentary champagne toast at Midnight. ?Bar open until 1:00am.

Hand+Foot: Drink special:?spiked hot cocoa (I got lost in how amazing it sounded and forgot to write down the ingredients, but trust me…), with complimentary champagne toast at Midnight. ?Open until 1:00am.

Three Birds: New menu debuted this week – and there are still a few dinner slots open for reservations. ?Complimentary champagne toast at Midnight. ?Bar will remain open until 3:00am.

Tony R’s: still has some dinner slots open (between 4-5 and after 8:00pm). ?Bar will likely remain open until Midnight (as long as there are still patrons).

Atlas Pizza: Serving food until 10:00pm and drinks at the upstairs bar as long as there are patrons.

Gaffer Grille and Tap Room: Open until at least Midnight, up until 1:00am if there are still patrons. ?At press time, The Inn at the Gaffer Grille still had rooms available.

Oak’s: Featuring internationally-known DJ Shawn Wright, drink specials, party favors,?complimentary champagne toast at Midnight. ?Open until 2:00am.

Maley’s: DJ will be spinning and?bar will be serving until 3:00am.

The Cellar: There are still a few time-slots open for dinner reservations. ?Serving their regular menu, plus specials: steak and crab legs feature, vegetable risotto, and sticky toffee pudding. ?Bar will remain open after Midnight as long as there are patrons.

Lando’s: TJ the DJ and DJ B.O.B are giving what is sure to be a high energy tag team performance from 9:00pm-2:00am. ?No cover, 21 & over.

The Site Cyber Bar & Grill: Plan for bar to be open until “at least 1:00am.”

McHale’s: Open until 1:00am.

Radisson: Still has rooms available for their New Year’s package – including champagne splits & breakfast buffet.

Market Street Brewing Company: Kitchen open until 9:00pm – bar likely open until 10:00pm.

Holmes Plate 54: Open until at least 10:00pm – later if there are still patrons.

Cap’n Morgan’s: Open only from 11:00am-6:00pm on 12/31 – open 4:00pm-1:00am on New Year’s Day though.

Fiesta Brava: kitchen and bar open until 10:00pm… Premium Margarita special ($5.99).

Aniello’s: open until 10:00pm (delivering until 9:00pm).

Rico’s: Open until 11:00pm.

Sorge’s: Regular menu plus pasta buffet – until 9:00pm.

Evergreen: Open until 10:00pm.

Little Boomer’s Burrito Bar: Closed.

Other bars/restaurants were either business as usual or had no response. ?Staybridge Suites also has rooms still available for the night. ?Let us know about any we missed and we’ll keep this updated through tomorrow evening.

If you need to stock up for a party:

Bottles & Corks: Open until 9:00pm.

Fazzary’s: Open until 6:00pm.

Northside Liquor Company: Open until 9:00pm, delivering until 10:00pm.

No matter how you get downtown, unless you?have a DD or your own personal Uber driver, keep Vet’s Taxi (962-TAXI)?in mind for your return trip (they’re operating 24 hours).
