On March 12th Holmes Plate (54 W Market St, Corning, NY) is hosting their 4th Annual Irish Festival. I haven’t been to the previous celebrations, but it certainly sounds like a great time. This year there is Irish folk music by Brian Highland, Irish step dancers, and a traditional Irish menu. Holmes Plate has awesome food and I’m getting hungry just reading some of the special items they have planned: Leg of Lamb, Shepherds Pie (w/Ground Lamb), Cottage Pie (W/Ground Beef), Broasted Potatoes, Irish Stew…. mMMMmmmmMMmm
