Ready to get pumped up for Ski Season? If you are a skier, you need to go to the movie / event at CMoG tonight hosted by Berger’s Ski and Snowboard shop. I went two years ago and came home with a bunch of lift tickets coupons. If you’re a skier you are probably familiar with Warren Miller movies. If you’re not familiar with him, get your act together home slice and come out to see this latest production Wintervention on the big screen (see trailer below).
Area Ski resorts will be giving out lots of coupons and information on their 2010 season. There will be raffles for awesome prizes like new ski gear and season passes -at least their were when I went 2 years ago. Tickets are limited (I doubt they will run out. I asked Berger’s and they ordered around 1000 for this year’s event) and cost around $18 (you may still be able to get discounted tickets if you buy ahead of time at Berger’s on Market Street). That’s a small price to pay considering you’ll probably be coming home with some free lift tickets. I’ll have twitter updates and I’ll try to send in a live blog update too. Bring a friend who doesn’t ski and get double the coupons. At least, that’s how I roll.
Doors open at 6pm at the Corning Museum of Glass. Movie starts at 7. Show up early before they run out of free swag.
